Direct Recruitment to the posts of Forest Ranger Forest Department, Govt. of Tripura

‘ON-LINE APPLICATIONS (Computerized)’ are invited from the eligible candidates for appearing at the Competitive Examination followed by Interview for appointment to the posts of Forest Ranger who will be required to undergo Ranger’s Course Training for 18(eighteen) months outside the state

1. Forest Ranger Forest Department : 09 Posts (ST-02, SC-02 & UR-05)
• Pay Scale : Pay Band-2, Rs.5310-24,000/- Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
• Age : Not more than 37 (thirty seven) years as on 14-06-2010 (Relaxable as per rules)

• Qualification : Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering of any recognized University with at least one of the following subjects:- (i) Agriculture, (ii) Botany, (iii) Chemistry, (iv) Computer applications/Computer Science, (v) Engineering ( Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Chemical / Agriculture / Computer ) (vi) Environmental Science, (vii) Forestry, (viii) Geology, (ix) Horticulture, (x) Mathematics, (xi) Statistics, (xii) Physics, (xiii) Veterinary Science, (xiv) Zoology.
