1. Associate Professor : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600
• Max Age : 45 Years
• 
  Qualification : A First class Master’s degree in Physics/Geophysics or Maths (applied) with atleast 10 years work experience in Geomagnetism and allied fields including instrumentation and computers
  

2. Senior Technical Assistant : 02 Posts (OBC-1, ST-1)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
• Max Age : 33 years with relaxation for OBC and 35 years with relaxation for ST
• 
  Qualification : First or high second class M.Sc. degree in Physics/ Geophysics/ B.E. or B.Tech. in Electronics
