Application in the prescribed format are invited from Indian Citizens and such other nationals as are declared eligible by Govt. of India for the undermentioned competitive examinations

1. Assistant Public Prosecutors’ Recruitment Examination, 2010
• No of vacancies : 50 [Unreserved – 28, SC – 11, ST – 05 (03+02), BC – 04 and PH – 02].
• Pay Scale : Rs.9,000-40,500/- + Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.26,670/- besides M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

• Qualification : i) A degree in Law from a recognized University. ii) A minimum 3 (three) years’ continuous practice as a Lawyer on the date of application and must be either an Advocate or a Barrister-at-Law

2. West Bengal Legal Service Examination, 2010
• No of vacancies : 41 (Unreserved – 25, SC – 09, ST – 04, BC – 02 and PH – 01).PH – 02].
• Pay Scale : Rs.9,000-40,500/- + Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.26,670/- besides M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules

• Qualification :A degree in Law from a recognized University

3. West Bengal Forest Service and West Bengal Subordinate Forest Service Examination, 2010
• Pay Scale: i) (PB-4) Rs.9,000-40,500/- + Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- . Gross Emoluments : Rs.26,670/- , ii) (PB-3) Rs.7,100-37,600/- + Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/-. Gross Emoluments : Rs.15,583/-

• Qualification : i) Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering of any recognized University or Institute with at least one of the following subjects : Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, Zoology.

4. West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Examination, 2010
• No of vacancies : 36 [Unreserved – 16, SC – (7 + 4*), ST – 2, BC – 2, PH – 5 (OH – 2, HI – 3)]
• Pay Scale : (PB-4) Rs.9,000-40,500/- + Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.26,670/-

• Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce of a recognized University or Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Members of the Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India
